Holistic Stress Management
The most commonly accepted definition of stress (mainly attributed to Richard S Lazarus) is that stress is a condition or feeling experienced when a person perceives that “demands exceed the personal and social resources the individual is able to mobilise.” Holistic Stress Management is working with individuals on a holistic basis to assist them to manage their stress to within the resources they have available.
Qualification requirement
We do not know of any recogised formal training specifically for this therapy. You must however be able to demonstrate a range of study and experience suitable and befitting PLUS No claims made against you whether justified or not PLUS evidence of continued professional development of a minimum of 10 hours a year PLUS 2 years of established practice in this field.
